The Opportunity Party campaign for the Hutt Valley is about to kick-off. We need your help!
If you're interested in getting involved with the campaign, this is the event for you. It doesn't matter if you are already a member, a volunteer, or are a complete newbie - come along and we can tell you about how you can get involved. Some of the things that you might be interested to do are:
- Flier deliveries in your local suburb
- Door knocking / coordinating door knocking teams
- Putting up signs across the Hutt South, Remutaka or even your own house!
- Supporting Opportunity candidates at the Riverbank and Brewtown markets on the weekend
- Talking with people over the phone for phone canvassing campaigns
We have a supportive team that can help train you in all of these areas, so don't worry if you're nervous about door knocking or answering the phones. This is a chance to chat with us and tell us how you'd like to contribute. If you've got skills we haven't mentioned in the list above and that could be of help to the campaign, amazing - tell us about them!
Our campaign energy is contagious - we've just had our first ever 6% poll this week and we're super excited to spread the word. Share this event with your mates.
