The seventh annual Hustle for the Homeless 5K has been scheduled for May 18, 2024! Will you join us?!
This annual event raises money for The Least of These (TLOT) Ministry and funds efforts to support Roanoke’s homeless community. The event was created as an opportunity for competitive racers to win awards, and for families and friends to come together for a cause.
All participants desiring to be competitive are invited to register for our live event on May 18. A virtual, non-competitive option is also available for our out-of-town supporters.
*LIVE EVENT DETAILS*
The live Hustle for the Homeless 5K will begin at 8:00am on May 18th, on the corner of Marshall Avenue and Fifth Street in downtown Roanoke. This event will have a sharp cut-off time of one hour. Parking will be accessible in the First Baptist Church lot. Our downtown course will test your hustle as it twists and turns through some of Roanoke's most well-known streets, giving you a glimpse of the places some of our friends call "home.”
*VIRTUAL EVENT DETAILS*
The Hustle at Home Virtual 5K is for anyone who wishes to support TLOT but does not desire to be chip-timed or does not believe they will finish the course before the one-hour cut-off time. Virtual participants can run, walk, or ride on their own 3.1-mile course on or before May 18tn.
To complete participation, it is requested that virtual Hustlers share their participation photo(s) and finishing time on Facebook:
* Post in the Hustle for the Homeless 5K Facebook Event Page.
* Include #hustleathome5k.
* Remember: if posting in your news feed, be sure to tag The Least of These and/or The Hustle for the Homeless 5K and make sure your post privacy settings are set to public.
All participants are encouraged to build camaraderie and hustle with friends and families to build awareness for TLOT and support the cause.
