Hurworth Mounted Hound Exercise Morning

Join us on a mounted hound exercise morning on Saturday 5th September at 9am.
Venue - The Hurworth Hunt, The Kennels, West Rounton, North Yorkshire, DL6 2LN.
We plan to meet at the kennels at 9am, for a walk, trot ride with hounds that will last around 1.5 hours. The route is approximately 6/7 miles.
This is an ideal opportunity to introduce a novice horse to hounds and to experience being in the "trail hunting field" with other horses.
This is a family friendly event and we do ask the children are supervised.
On our return to Kennels there will be breakfast and refreshments all included in the cap.
Adults - £15 in advance via Horsevents / £20 on the day.
Children (under 16 yrs old) - £10 in advance via Horsevents / £15 on the day
Bicycle rider - £7.50
Breakfast refreshments are available for just £5 for anyone not taking part in the ride.
Advance entries via Horsevents close at 10pm on Friday 4th September. No refunds will be given within 48hrs of the event.
Parking is available at the kennels from 8am with the ride moving off at 9am prompt.
The Mounted Hound Exercise is open to everyone and we do hope you can join us.
Dress code - ratcatcher (tweed) jacket or dark jacket. No need to plait. If it's a warm morning the dress code will be relaxed to leave off jackets.
