There are two Hursty Dance Club events taking place in 2026. You can purchase tickets to both here, please take note of the date you are booking for.

It’s your chance to dance!
Hursty Dance Club was created in 2025 to provide a fun, safe and inclusive space, for locals, aged 25+ (and heaps older) to enjoy a night of dancing. The newly renovated Hurstbridge Bowling Club, with its disco ball, fairy lights and friendly bar staff proved to be the perfect location for some relaxed, dancing fun! There was an energetic crowd which included friends celebrating birthdays, lots of mum’s dodging bedtime routines and a few couples enjoying a night out dancing together, The DJ said the positive energy on the dance floor was amazing... and kind of rare. Most importantly, everyone said that they wanted MORE!
WHAT TO EXPECT
DJ Sierra Jane will be pumping out the party tunes to get us in the dancing mood
The bar will be operating for you to purchase drinks if you wish
This is a licensed venue so no BYO drinks allowed
You are welcome to bring in food, and there are lots of options to grab dinner or snacks in Hurstbridge
There is no dress code, wear whatever you feel great in! That might mean heels and sparkles, or it could mean 90’s grunge and your comfiest pair of runners.
You do you! (FYI It did get pretty warm on the dance floor)!
Be prepared to have some fun with a great crowd of locals
Anyone 25+ is welcome
This is an event for people who love to dance and perhaps don't have as many opportunities as they used to
Don't be shy about coming alone, you'll find your spot on the dance floor
If attending alone, feel free to leave a note when booking your ticket, and we'll make sure you have some friendly faces to hang out with!
WHY BOOK EARLY?
You'll go into the draw to win a $50 voucher which can be used on future Hursty Dance Club Events or at No Lights No Lycra Hurstbridge (Drawn the Monday after each event).
Your song requests will be passed on to the DJ to be played on the night
To be in the draw and have your songs played, book your tickets by the 14th of June (for the June event) and the 16th of August (for the August event).
BOOK ONLINE AND SAVE!
Save $5 when you book yourself a ticket to BOTH events at the same time.
There are ten discounted packages available for groups of five dance pals (you'll get 5 tickets for the price of 4).
Please make use of the 'Pay What You Can' option if this event feels out of your budget.
Whilst there is a no-refund policy, if you need to cancel, email [email protected] before the event, and you will receive a credit note to use at future Hursty Dance Club events or at No Lights No Lycra Hurstbridge.
To thank you for paying the small online booking fee, all attendees who booked online, automatically receive a $5 discount at any No Lights No Lycra Hurstbridge session. Simply turn up on any Monday night during term time, at Hurstbridge Hall 7.30-8.30pm, your name will be at the door.
We can't wait to dance the 'early evening' away with you, right here in Hurstbridge!
This event is organised by Bec, who runs No Lights No Lycra Hurstbridge (dancing in the dark).
