Meet at Green Bus Brewing on Wednesday at 5:30 pm for a 3 or 5 mile run, run/walk, walk or ruck. Everyone is welcome!
We encourage runners to wear their favorite costumes and have fun but costumes are not required. Routes will be going thru the cemetery, so unfortunately our four legged friends are not allowed.
Turn by turn routes are always provided prior to the run so that you can go at a pace that is comfortable for you. Spooky RunGo routes will also be available with links provided in the event comments/discussion.
Sunset is getting earlier and we will soon be running in the dark. Please get ready to start wearing light colored clothing, reflective gear and have lights to see the directions, street signs and where you are running.
And it is a great idea to bring something dry/warm and to put on after the run.
We ask everyone to BE THOUGHTFUL. Provide encouragement to fellow runners and mindful of your language and conversation topics.
The goal is to SHARE THE ROADS, SIDEWALKS & PATHS. Don’t run more than two abreast, especially on busy roads and sidewalks. Bright colored clothing helps you to be more visible to motorists.
OBEY ALL TRAFFIC SIGNS. Pay attention to your surroundings, especially if your group is running on the road. Run against traffic on the roads. NEVER assume a driver is going to stop for you at an intersection even if you have the right-of-way.
The Huntsville Pub Run (Est. 2016) is just fun group of runners that meet weekly. There is no cost to join and we do not use sponsors for our weekly events. All food and beverage costs are at your expense and we ask everyone that chooses to drink to DRINK RESPONSIBLY.
