About this Event

Join the Illinois Learn to Hunt Program for a FREE specialty workshop focused on the prime pre-rut and rut periods in Illinois, from Halloween through mid-November. Learn how to locate buck beds, identify the best sign to hunt, apply rut-specific strategies, find pressured public land bucks, manage trail camera data, and more.

This free workshop will be held at the Sitka store in Vernon Hills. We will start at 4 and go until closing time at 8. Attendees will receive free drinks and free raffle entries from Sitka.

If you want to learn some new tips and tricks about deer while minching some wild snacks this is a night you won’t want to miss!
