REGISTRATION NOW OPEN at RoyalOakHolidays.com/hungry-hipposOn Saturday, November 29 + Sunday, November 30, we're bringing the classic game "Hungry Hippos" to life on the ice at The Rink in Centennial Commons in Downtown Royal Oak!
Teams of 4 will compete on tubes on The Rink with baskets to grab as many plastic balls as they can in 2 minutes.
DIVISIONS + PRIZES
*All participants get a free hot chocolate
* Participants making it to the final round get a free skate
Family Division
Competition Time: 10am
Check-in Time: 9am and all teams must be checked in by 9:30am
Grand Prize: Weekend at the Soaring Eagle Waterpark
Restrictions: 2 of the team members (pushing the tube), must be 16 or older, the team member on the tube must be under 12 years old, no age restrictions on team member helping collect the balls into your bin!
High School Division
Competition Time: 1pm
Check-in Time: 12pm and all teams must be checked in by 12:30pm
Grand Prize: $1,000 donation to your team's chosen high school sports team, club or activity
Restrictions: Team members must be between 14 and 18 years old and be a high school student.
Adult Division
Competition Time: 4pm
Check-in Time: 3pm and all teams must be checked in by 4:30pm
Grand Prize: Weekend at the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort
