About the Event:
North Carolina is not only home to the Ruby-throated Hummingbird but also hosts Western species during colder months—a phenomenon that has intrigued researchers and citizen scientists alike. In this session, Susan Campbell will demonstrate safe banding techniques for scientific data collection. She’ll also take questions for those interested in attracting hummingbirds to their own yard or supporting conservation for the species.
