Hummingbird Afternoon Open Play at Net Game
A new place and time to play! 🀄️
Hummingbird Mahjong Co. is excited to partner with Net Game to bring our Mahjong community a brand-new daytime Open Play option.
Join us for our first Afternoon Open Play — a relaxed, welcoming afternoon designed to give our Mahjong community a place to play, practice, connect, and keep those skills sharp.
Each Open Play features two hours of hosted Mahjong. Come with friends or come on your own. We'll organize tables by experience and comfort level whenever possible.
We’ll provide everything you need to play, including tiles, mats, racks, and all Mahjong materials. Hummingbird instructors will be on hand throughout the afternoon to answer questions, help keep games moving, and offer guidance when needed.
Your $35 registration includes:
- Two hours of hosted Mahjong play
- All Mahjong materials
- Light snacks
- Hummingbird instructors available for questions and guidance
- Tables organized by experience and comfort level whenever possible.
Who should attend?
Open Play is intended for players who already know the basics of American Mahjong. This is not an instructional class, but questions are always welcome!
If you’re brand new to the game, we recommend starting with one of our Mahjong Foundations classes or a private beginner lesson.
A welcoming table for everyone
Our goal is to create a fun, social, and learning-friendly experience where players of different comfort levels can enjoy the game together.
Registered players will receive our Hummingbird Table Notes before Open Play, which includes a few simple reminders that help keep play welcoming and enjoyable for everyone.
Registration & Event Policies
Space is limited and advance registration is required.
Open Play registrations are nonrefundable. If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another player.
Open Play begins promptly at the scheduled time and runs continuously without formal breaks.
By purchasing a ticket, attendees acknowledge and agree to these policies and acknowledge that participation in this event is at their own risk. The Hummingbird Mahjong Co. and its instructors are not responsible for injuries, lost or damaged personal property, or other losses arising from participation in the event.
Photos or short video clips may occasionally be taken during Open Play and may be used on The Hummingbird Mahjong Co. social media or in promotional materials. Please let us know if you prefer not to appear in photos or videos.
