A stream of conscienceless sprouted in the predawn of the 1990's, that has woven its way through and into the way we dress, sound and move, forming the fabric of our flesh. Falling out of sync with common pop culture, with bands that could have been, but never were. Fearing failure and limited by the need for perfection, projects withered and gathered dust in a sea of home recordings. Life and needs change but the dreamer remains, cravings for something better. This is who I am, we are; The Humming Sun Band.
Bunbury Indie Rock group The Humming Sun Band, having
spent the summer in the studio, are heating things up this Winter by hitting the stage with some old favourites and some new songs.
The Humming Sun Band has been a solo project, just me, writing
and recording songs in my home studio. A melting pot of
observations, memories and echos with a dash of whimsy. …..

Probably not, but are there really any rules with music?
Now with Elodie and Nick by my side, we’re bringing a collection of emotionally charged tales and blistering solar flares to the stage.
Elodie is a Bunbury-based singer-songwriter with over two decades of experience creating and performing original music. Her unique songwriting is melodic and moving, capturing raw emotion through honest lyrics and expressive arrangements.
Elodie has played a key role in a range of original indie rock projects, previously performing as the singer, songwriter, and guitarist for Blue Panic and Bird. She also played drums for the two-piece outfit Faction Carnival.
Now stepping further into her musical versatility, Elodie continues to write and perform her own material while also holding down the rhythm section as the drummer for The Humming Sun Band.
