Launch is from Woodley Island Dock I at 9:30 am. Please arrive by 9 am; the safety briefing will be at 9:20 am. We aim to be off the water by 12:30 at the latest. As with previous clean-ups, this event is in collaboration with Northcoast Environmental Center and California Coastal Clean-up Month, and the Hog Island Oyster Co will assist with hauling the trash.
Participants must have their own gear (kayak and PFD w/ attached whistle) and wear non-cotton clothing. A change of clothes is recommended in the case of getting wet, and shoes/pants that can get muddy are also a good idea. This paddle is appropriate for novice paddlers with some experience in a kayak.
