Join us for Human Rights Advocacy Training!š Tuesday, October 28 - Thursday October 30, 2025
10 AM - 5 PM each day (Doors will open at 9 am and programming will begin at 10 am promptly)

This three-day intensive training is designed to strengthen community-based human rights advocacy. Participants will gain the knowledge, networks, and tools needed to advance the rights of communities facing systemic barriers through provincial, territorial and national and international human rights mechanisms.
What youāll gain:
š¹Deepened understanding of human rights and anti-discrimination frameworks
š¹Connections with fellow advocates and organizations to foster collaboration
š¹Practical advocacy tools to develop plans for action on the issues you care about
š¹A certificate of completion for Stride Advocacy Human Rights Training
Key topics will include:
š¹Navigating human rights mechanisms
š¹Creating and implementing anti-oppressive advocacy practices
š¹Building actionable advocacy plans to address participant-identified issues
