About this Event
Human Resources - An improv character workshop
A little specificity goes a long way. Human Resources is a workshop about creating memorable and believable improv characters using small but meaningful choices—voice, rhythm, posture, attitude, emotional perspective. Instead of forcing “big” characters, participants will learn how subtle details can instantly transform scenes and relationships. Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned player, you’ll have a blast exploring fun techniques to boost your creativity and bring your characters to life. Don’t miss out on this chance to add some extra flavor to your performance!
Instructor Chelsea Karnes (Glenndale, AZ) brings over 13 years of improv experience to her workshops. A veteran performer with Arizona based teams NAUghty Bits, Tiny Punches, Chomsky School of Business, and Paul from Breakfast, Karnes plays with a fast and loose style, making wild character choices and seeing where they land.
