Celebrate Hull FireFly - 10 Years!
Hull FireFly, the live storytelling spin off from The Moth Story Hour will begin its 10th year of Live StoryTelling here in Hull on January 28, 2025 at The Parrot. This will be a special event worthy of gift giving for those hard to shop for people on your list.
Having started Hull FireFly as a “Let’s do this in Hull” idea by a group of friends, these live storytelling sessions have taken place in a home on Allerton Hill, at the former Bridgeman’s Restaurant, The Corner Stop Eatery, and currently at The Weir River Farm in the summer and The Parrot in the winter.
Come celebrate 10 years of love storytelling on January 28, at The Parrot. The theme of the evening is “My Mother Used to Say”.

Reservations are required and include an evening of The Parrots' favorite culinary selections presented as a Grazing Table, fountain beverages, as well as tips, taxes and registration fees.

A full bar is available from 5:30pm-8:30pm.

Storytelling begins at 7:15pm!

Questions and comments about each story are held until after all the stories have been shared, sort of like a live theater "talk back with the actors", where audience members are able to ask questions that emerge from the story telling.
