It’s Time for the Huis Horison Fête!

31 October & 1 November 2025

Huis Horison’s much-loved annual Fête returns this spring with two festive days filled with fun food and community spirit – all in support of adults with primary intellectual disabilities.

PREVIEW: Friday 31 October 12:00 to 16:00.

Guests can enjoy a relaxed afternoon and support the following products stalls: Huis Horison's woodwork needlework christmas decorations plants and goodies from our bakery as well as 2nd hand items (bric 'n brac) thrift clothing and second hand books.

Village Thyme will be serving Tea and Cake there will be pancakes for sale and boerewors rolls (in support of Stellenbosch Werkssentrum).

09:00 - 13:00 The fête comes alive with a wide variety of attractions for all ages. Traditional food stalls featuring favourites like skilpadjies pancakes roosterkoek basaarpudding cakes and more. There will be live music beer on tap wine and a delicious foods for lunch to enjoy with a coffee or glass of wine. Jumping castle Tombola and fun activities for the kids. Stalls will offer handmade products created in our Huis Horison work areas including plants needlework woodwork firelighters christmas decorations and then the ever popular second-hand books pottery cards clothing and other unique bric n brac items for sale.
