All aboard! Pottsgrove Manor, Winterthur, and Perkiomen Tours team up to bring you a day of history to dye for.
Catch the bus to Pottsgrove Manor where you’ll enjoy a special presentation by Winterthur staff on the techniques of 18th-century dyeing with a special first floor tour to follow. After that, it’s back on the bus to Winterthur! Pack lunch to eat on the grounds, or stop by the Visitor Center Café. Once you’ve refueled, continue to color your world with history. Test the colonial hues of indigo and cochineal with a hands-on dyeing activity and take a behind-the-scenes tour of their textiles collection.
