Huddersfield Urban Sketch Meets started in 2022 and each month between 15 & 30 sketchers meet to draw from observation together. We're a friendly bunch & always welcome new folks. This is not a tutored event.

You draw what you see, your way. Everyone is welcome. Every drawing is celebrated.

Here's how it works...

Materials

Everyone brings their own drawing equipment

• There are no rules about materials - use whatever you like! No materials provided.

Themes

Each meet there is a different optional theme.

The themes help us select subject matter & explore ways of approaching drawing it. They are entirely optional.

Style

Variety is the spice of life & we welcome all styles of drawing.

Sharing

We sketch unti 1pm when we regroup to enjoy each others drawings. This is a great opportunity to learn from others, to pick up tips & get inspired.
