You and your family are invited to the Houston POTA event.A few important things to know
• Park access is $7.00 unless you have a Texas park pass, More info on tpwd.texas.gov
• We will provide at least 4 HF radios so the only thing you need to bring is yourself, something to drink, and something to snack on.
• You are welcome to bring your own equipment to use, ask questions about or to share with others.
• You can use your own call sign if you decide to get on the radio.
• Technician class licensees ARE WELCOME! You can operate within your designated band, however if you want access to all HF bands please see Anthony (W5LIC) or Kori (WX5KR) to use the club call.
• Of course, you do not have to operate the radios, you can come out for a fun time with your fellow hams.
• You can ask the park rangers how to find us, or reach out to us on 146.520 MHz FM simplx while in the vicinity of the park
• This is a family friendly event.
