Comp Details & Rules.
Comp entry fee-
$5 Per Class
!!CASH ONLY!!
Please have exact change for comp fee!!!
Sign at 11am. we will get you signed in early if you are ready.
SIGN IN-
-Bring the truck or trucks you are running with batteries in them to get the weight & body checked, Pay the $5 cash per class, Then get your number put on truck.
Only run 3 trucks Max!
-Build a truck for any class you want, but make sure it meets those class rules.
- You can to run 2 trucks in the same class.
If you are going to run 2 trucks in the same class, that 2nd truck will be added to the back of the list & that 2nd truck will have .5 on your number. So if you are #6 then the 2nd truck number will be #6.5 & that truck will run after everyone has made their first run in that class.
-Can use 1 truck in 2 different classes!
You can make your light & heavy rig the same chassis by changing wheel/ tire setup to add or take off weight & change the body if you wanted too.
-But the truck will be inspected before each run to make sure that the changes made to it meets the rules of that class.
-You can also run your Light or Heavy trucks in Unlimited class.
So you have options to run multiple classes if you have 1 truck.
(So come ready to play)
(No 18th scale Capra buggy!)
(Classes)
C1- Stock
(Lightweight 560g & under with battery)
-Must have the STOCK chassis rails. & Must be (ZERO ANGLE CHASSIS RAILS) With 90% of a body (Hard or Lexan)
-Body can be trimmed for tire clearance or a little more approach angle. Must not cut past headlights or taillights.
-Body still needs grill, hood, fenders, cab, bedsides, bedfloor, tailgate.
Just be careful & don't cut or trim to much off.
-Tire NO bigger than 58mm, & Can only run a 1.0 size wheel.
-Must have a stock style transmission mount/ belly skid, It can be the stock plastic one with a metal skid plate cover, or changed to metal stock style belly skid. (The belly skid must have the stock link mounting location).
-You can change shock towers, Esc/ battery trays, add rock slider & upgraded shocks on the stock chassis rails.
-Stock style axles. But can be upgraded to metal housing. Can also add over driver gears or under drive the rear.
-Can use metal high clearance links, & metal steering linkage in this class.
(But NO rollers on the steering links!)
-Can run Brushed or Brushless motors, & Upgraded servos.
-Recovery Bungee & Winches allowed!
-No 4WS!
C2- Modified
(Lightweight 560g & under with battery)
(Heavyweight 561g & over with battery)
-You can run any LCG chassis, With 70% of a body (Hard or Lexan)
-Body can be trimmed for tire clearance, to match the angle of the chassis & holes can be cut in the body for shocks or motor clearance.
-Body still needs some of the hood, fenders, cab, bedsides, tailgate.
Just be careful & don't cut or trim to much off.
(Cab only body will be in Unlimited class)
-Tire NO bigger than 70mm, & can still run a smaller tire. Can run a 1.0 to a 1.3 size wheel.
-You can do any upgrades to the chassis you want. You can run any style belly skid, Any style 4 link setup & Any style upgraded steering linkage in this class.
-Can run Brushed or Brushless motors, & Upgraded servos.
-No 4WS, Recovery Bungee, or Winches!
C3- Unlimited
-No weight limits
-No chassis, or body limits in this class!
-Can run any cage/ buggy chassis, & any LCG chassis.
-If you're running a LCG chassis try to at least put a cab only body to cover electronics.
-Any size wheel & tire combo is allowed.
-Can run 4WS or Not.
-Can run Brushed, or Brushless motors, & Upgraded servos
-No Recovery Bungee, or Winches!
(Points system)
Gates-
-The course will have 12 gates total. All gates are 8 inches wide! If you hit any side of the gates it's +1.
-Once the rear tires of truck has passed through the gate it is dead.
-If you choose to do the Bonus Gate & stay on tires through the gate it's -10, But on a down hill Bonus Gate If you roll over through the gate & do not hit the gates that's only -5.
Time-
-There will be a 10 minute timer on each run with a 2 minute warning before the end of your run. We will write down the time you have left from run.
-If you DNF you will get +50 on your score
Reverse-
-Try to make as little as possible. It's +1 every time. Make every reverse worth it. -We know the difference when a truck rolls back & when reverse is engaged.
Touching-
-If the truck (Rolls Over) just use one hand to roll it back on its wheels with out picking up the truck up at the spot it landed it's +5.
-If you do have to pick the truck up (Hand of God) & truck comes off the course you have to put it back where it landed & it's +10.
Skip-
-If you are having trouble climbing & can't make it up a gate or obstacle you can skip past it.
-But your rear tires must be placed at the end of the gate, or end of obstacle it's +10.
Repairs-
-If you have to fix something in any way like the body comes off, fix a battery, or you have a break down during your run you get the option of doing repairs & you get a 2 minutes for repairs It's +10.
-If you do not get it fixed & back on course in the 2 mins it's a DNF.
(You have to restart at the spot your truck broke down at).
Stock Class points-
All the other point system will stay the same, but we will be adding a Bungee/ Winches for the harder spot that a stock chassis can not make.
If you have to use your Recovery Bungee/ Winch its +2.
Points-
Hitting Gate +1
Reverse +1
Bungee/ Winch +2
Touching +5 Roll over/ +10 H.O.G
Skipping gate/ obstacle +10
Repairs +10
Bonus -10 Clean/ -5 Roll through
DNF +50
