The HSS Annual Community Friendsgiving: Everyone WelcomeDid they all leave on vacation and leave you home alone? (Pun intended) Don't feel like cooking a whole feast for days? Are you one of those who enjoy holidays better when surrounded by tons of people?
At the Historic Springfield Society (HSS) we have the perfect solution for you!
Making it a Springfield tradition, we’re throwing again our Annual Community Friendsgiving—a cozy, fun, and totally non-judgmental gathering for anyone who wants to celebrate with good company, especially those who don't have local family or just prefer to gather with the community! Leave the stress behind and join your friends and neighbors for a feast.
The Potluck Plan (No Seven Layer Dip Duplicates!)
This is an all-hands-on-deck potluck, and the HSS is handling the organization to ensure we have a beautifully balanced spread (i.e., four pumpkin pies top).
Please click on the link to the Potluck Sign-Up List, RSVP (adding the number of people in your party), and write down what you plan to bring. This is your chance to shine, whether it's grandma’s famous stuffing or that amazing store-bought pie you swear you made yourself. As it´s becoming tradition, HSS will be providing the turkeys, iced tea, and lemonade.
