Mark your calendar! We are excited to host our annual Howl-O-Walkoween fundraising event at the Promenade Park Pavilion on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Howl-O-Walkoween benefits Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control's Humane Education youth programs and community outreach efforts.
The highlight of the event is our Pet Costume Contest where participants will strut their stuff in front of a panel of judges. While this is a pet-friendly event, we strongly encourage only bringing your pet if they are up to date on vaccines and enjoy social settings.

Many participants choose to dress up with their pets, although this is not required to win or participate. Spectators are welcome to attend without a registration fee, but we do encourage every guest to support our fundraising efforts in some way.
