Is someone in your family asking you to “save the stories?” Or maybe you have been looking forward to sharing your own story. Make 2025 the year that you get started! Join the Memoir Writing Class being offered at St. James the Fisherman. Participants will learn and share strategies with each other on the ways to shape a memoir. The class will involve some instruction, in-class writing, as well as reading and sharing your writing.
The class will be offered in six sessions over twelve weeks: The first class begins on Thursday, January 9th, from 1 - 2 pm. Classes will also be held on January 23rd, February 6th, February 20th, March 6th, and March 20th. The class will meet at Bliss Hall, St. James the Fisherman Episcopal Church, 4941 Main St., Shallotte NC. Parking is available on Powell St., and you can access Bliss Hall from the Powell St. entrance.
The class is being facilitated by Cathryn Clinton, who is an experienced teacher and writer. She has written two middle grade novels, two young adult novels, and one picture book. The novels are available on Amazon.
