Join Gorge Happiness for How to Winter, a warm and welcoming community circle that weaves together meditation, reflection, and book club conversation to help you embrace the quieter months with intention. Instead of simply enduring winter, we’ll explore gentle practices that bring rest, creativity, and grounding into the season, drawing inspiration from the book’s comforting imagery and insights. This gathering offers a cozy space to slow down, connect with others, and discover meaningful ways to care for yourself during the darker months. Come settle in, breathe deeply, and learn how to make winter a time of renewal rather than retreat.During the class, we will connect with each other, practice meditation, and discuss How to Winter by Kari Leibowitz. We will read the book throughout the months together, with discussions about a few chapters each gathering. The class runs for 90 minutes from 11:30 am to 1 pm on the first and third Tuesdays of the month: Dec 2, Dec 16, Jan 6, Jan 20, Feb 10, Feb 24. Free. No need to RSVP.
