About this Event

Do you want to attract more of the right kind of customers, grow your business, and do the right thing at the same time?

Are you feeling overwhelmed with sustainability and unsure where to start but know it’s important?

Then this workshop is for you!

In this 2 hour session, you’ll be guided through 6 key areas of your business to build your sustainability plan; by documenting what you've achieved in the past, guided through what to do now, and prepare a plan for the future.

By the end of the workshop, you'll know the best next step to take your business forward on its sustainability journey.

The workshop will help you discover how much you've already achieved on your sustainability journey! Gain confidence in how to tell your sustainability story, overcoming the pitfalls of “greenwashing” and “greenhushing”, and connect with other businesses on a similar path to you.

Get a Sustainability Plan

You'll leave the workshop with a plan of action that will not only win you more clients with a compelling sustainability story, but also ensure your business is doing the right thing. This will go beyond just surviving as a business, propelling you to thrive as a leader in the low-carbon economy.

Cut business costs with simple actions such as how to save electricity and heating, cut your transport costs, and improve recycling.

We’ve made the process fun and simple - giving you the tools to take control of your sustainability story. By looking at 6 key areas of your business, you’ll get an understanding of which area to focus on first.

Grow Your Business

During the session, you’ll meet other like-minded businesses who have made changes just like you. Together you’ll discover new ideas to build a better business and have an expert facilitator on hand to guide you and answer any questions you might have.

Consumers and businesses alike want to buy from businesses who are doing the right thing - but to do so they need to know what you’re doing! As part of this workshop, you’ll leave with a clear plan to show your clients and customers the great things you have achieved already in your business. Make sustainability your USP and tell a sustainability story that wins you more customers!

Meet Net Zero Requirements

Gain a grasp of key sustainability language and understand the nuances between carbon neutrality and net zero. You’ll leave with a plan to reduce emissions by 50% by 2030, in line with the science on climate change.

In the workshop you’ll use the Small99™ Estimator to get a rough idea of your organisation's carbon footprint and where the biggest carbon emissions come from. From here, you will choose a set of reduction actions to accelerate you on your journey.

CPD Accredited

The workshop is an accredited CPD workshop too, and you’ll get a certificate at the end to demonstrate the commitment to your sustainability journey.
