A course for improv teachers, both new and old, to immerse themselves in good practice and community.
About this Event

How to teach improv inclusively is a must-have course if you're a new teacher, a veteran teacher, or indeed in charge of teacher training. With lots of hands-on learning, we'll work on holding space, side coaching and noting effectively, modifying games and prompts for anyone, combatting internal bias in ourselves and our students, structuring a course or whole syllabus to meet different outcomes, and more. A great opportunity to further your practice, and to connect with, and learn from, a community of teachers who are doing the same.

If you've taken our Inclusion in Improv course, this is a very nice follow-on, with only small amounts of overlap. If you haven't taken it, don't worry! 1) it's not a prerequisite and 2) you can download it online if you'd like the info! Find it here.

Limited scholarship spots are available, as are payment plans; please message us!

Accessibility: Theatre Deli has flat access and accessible loos, and a quiet space available. There is strip lighting, though we can modify this if needed. We are happy to accommodate access needs as best we can, but please let us know ahead of time, if possible.
