How To Plant and Maintain Fruit Trees with Botanical Brian

This class will cover the basics of fruit tree planting and care. It is a hands-on class that will take place in our orchard and in our conference room. Subjects include:

· Types of fruit trees that grow in the Kansas City area

· Site requirements for growing fruit trees

· How to plant fruit trees properly

· How to water and fertilize fruit trees

· Basics of pollination

· Insect and disease management

· Proper pruning of fruit trees.

Dates: February 22 and March 15

Time: 11:00 – 12:30
