How to Market YOUR Offering - 10/1/2026 at Good NAtured

Have you ever wanted to teach your OWN workshop or class?
These have been one of the most rewarding experiences in my art career.
And now, I'm giving you the tools to share your own skills.
It's fulfilling, can help you spread the word about your passion & your business or hobby, and it can even get a few extra bucks in your pocket. I won't say it's easy money - BUT - I can share the tools & tricks I have learned over the last 5 years, and HUNDREDS of classes. I have recurring contracts teaching a variety of art classes with places like:
* Active Generations (a quarterly guided art event for CAREgivers of Dementia patients)
* 401 Create by LifeQUEST (working with adults with disabilities; sometimes we paint murals, sometimes we coordinate full blown art exhibitions & events, other times we simply paint on canvas & connect)
* YMCA (an annual "Big Vikes Day" event, geared at giving ADULTS a daycamp experience)
* A variety of local & regional bars, restaurants, and even a special place called Good NAtured (who is hosting THIS event!)
With your ticket price, you can expect TWO HOURS of guidance & discussion with me, an award winning Art Lesson instructor. (Thank you again to everyone for voting me into GOLD with the Sioux Falls Community Votes!)
I will provide all attendees with a printout; this way you don't have to focus on note-taking, and you can bring your "worksheet" back home to really focus & hone in on YOUR specific offering.
This class ISN'T just for artists! (But I think we are ALL artists.... so do with that what you will :) )

* Marketing: from posters, to social media, newsletters, SMS marketing & more!
* Business: from pricing, to business agreements & ticket sales
* Class flow: what to expect when teaching ticketed events! & things to think of to keep your clients safe
* Learn about local businesses looking to partner & offer events! Community is key, and many small businesses are learning that they can create community through offering events & expanding their reach organically, with artists & folks just like you & me!
