How to make a self-guided heritage trail
About this Event
This workshop is for people who work for or volunteer with a heritage organisation, looking after our shared places like historic buildings or natural landscapes. We'll cover why self-guided tours or trails are not only a great visitor resource but can be used as part of engagement and participation programmes, to build strong connections with the communities your place is part of.
Are you hoping to engage a new audience with the stories you have to tell? This workshop will help you develop your ideas. You’ll leave with a clearer intention of who you want to work with and how, and what an engaging walking trail or self-guided tour might look like.
Join us for this free, in-person workshop at the National Emergency Services Museum - share your own experience and learn from other people who also have a passion for protecting the places we love.
