Our popular HOW TO JAM Workshop returns this year at WMF26!!!We are excited to announce that instructor Janet Wellington will hold her popular "How to Jam" Workshop on Thursday, January 22, 3-4pm at the Florence Events Center (this event is free). This is a great class that will get you ready for a weekend of jamming!
Learn a basic chord progression that can be applied to many folk and country and bluegrass songs, plus how to figure out what key the song is in. Especially good for beginners who have never jammed and have always wanted to. Join this fun free workshop--bring your acoustic instrument.
This is a workshop on how to jam—it’s simple music theory, plus the practical application to help you participate in a festival jam—it involves understanding how a song is constructed, and how to play along by ear.
