Join PRSA Dayton for an informative professional development session focused on the importance of crisis communications planning. This foundational program will explore why every organization needs a crisis communications plan and how to begin building one before a crisis occurs. Topics will include what to include in a plan, key considerations, and where to start.The session will be led by PRSA Dayton member and 2023 President Steven Solomon, External Relations Lead for the Central and Southern Ohio Region of the Red Cross, and a Public Information Officer instructor for the Ohio Emergency Management Agency.
The program will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 12 to 1 p.m., with doors opening at 11:45 a.m., at the Dayton Metro Library Community Room, 215 E. Third St. in Dayton.
Whether you work in government, nonprofit, healthcare, education, or the private sector, this session will provide valuable insight into preparing your organization to communicate effectively during challenging situations.
