HOW TO COACH LEARNERS AROUND EMOTIONAL TRIGGERS AND LEARNING BLOCKS!Description
We will talk about how learners have changed, how our brains have changed and now how teachers are changing, adjusting and adapting to the learners of today! In particular we will explore emotional triggers and how fight flight freeze may affect language. We will look at how neuroscience and coaching combined can be harnessed to troubleshoot learning blocks and help learners get back onto the learning track. We will look at how to recognise the triggers and then how to talk to learners about the brain and finally how to conduct coaching conversations to empower learners into recovery.
This workshop will cover
• Key principles from neuroscience and neuropsychology to enhance learning
• How to become a brain friendly communicator
• How to recognise and understand emotional triggers
• How to help our learner to understand fight flight freeze
• How to bring our learner back into a calm learning state
