About Adriane Hopkins – Butterfly Expert & Educator: Adriane Hopkins, a lifelong butterfly enthusiast, has lived in Arizona since 1988. She educates schools, garden clubs, and organizations worldwide and has led butterfly tours to Costa Rica and Mexico. A former journalist and educator, she has written extensively on butterflies and designed numerous butterfly gardens.
She serves on the board of the Southwest Monarch Study and is a member of CAzBA. A Master Gardener and former foster parent, Adriane enjoys photographing cars, butterflies, and long-distance ocean swimming.
