How to Ask for Help

How skilled are you at asking for help? How comfortable do you feel doing it?

Many of us feel discomfort when asking for help, even though we readily encourage others to ask for it. We hesitate to ask for help, fearing it might make us look weak. But when we take on everything ourselves, it often leads to burnout or resentment.

Recognizing the challenges around this, CuriosityBased has created a “How to Ask for Help” workshop.

We invite you to join us for a special event: an abbreviated version of our “How to Ask for Help” workshop. The workshop will be highly interactive, with 2 to 3-person breakout discussions where you can network and learn together.

• Discuss obstacles to asking
• Learn strategies to ask for help (the SMART method)
• Practice asking with others

These are abbreviated, introductory versions to our full versions. They will not be recorded. All the workshops will last one hour and we will stay on for an additional 10 minutes to answer any questions, which is optional for people to stay.

For those whose organizations will reimburse your development or who have greater means, we ask you to consider paying a higher fee. Pricing is on a sliding scale to accommodate different budgets. You can also purchase a registration as a gift to a friend, colleague, or mentee.
