Jesters, collectors and narcissists reign in this low-brow exploration of the cost of creativity and the art of living.

After four critically acclaimed seasons in Aotearoa and Australia, Ratbags Theatre makes their UK premiere for Edinburgh Festival Fringe, 5-30 August, 9:40pm at Underbelly Cowgate - Iron Belly.
Inspired by the infamous artwork ‘Comedian’, Maurizio Cattelan’s viral art sensation which sold for $6.2 million before being eaten by its new owner, How to Art is birthed from the burnt-out brains of NZ theatre makers, Katie Burson, Georgie Lewellyn and Bronwyn Ensor. With production design by Rob Byrne, costume design by Dan Collings, object design by Tse-Yu Lin, sound composition by Fia Haugh and lighting design by Alylai Flynn.
Edinburgh season operated by Michael Goodwin, with production support by Pierrot Productions and publicity by Storytelling PR.
