How local impact can strengthen your business

Join Community Foundation Wales in Aberystwyth for an evening of conversation, networking and shared learning, focused on how corporate social responsibility (CSR) can deliver real value for your business and your community.

This informal session brings together businesses of all sizes to celebrate the fantastic work already happening in and around Aberystwyth. It will also explore how targeted community investment can support business goals by strengthening reputation, engaging employees, building trusted local relationships and contributing to the long-term resilience of the community.

Guests are invited to arrive at 5pm for drinks and informal networking, followed by a short panel discussion featuring businesses and community partners already making a difference locally.

The discussion will be chaired by Community Foundation Wales, with speakers from Aber Instruments, Principality Building Society and other partners.

We’ll also hear from a local community group sharing the difference community support and partnerships can make for people and places in their area.

What to expect:

• Drinks and informal networking from 5pm
• A panel discussion focused on CSR, local giving and community partnerships
• Insight from businesses already supporting grassroots change in Wales
• A local community case study from Porthi Aber
• Opportunities to connect with fellow businesses, charities and local organisations

The evening will finish by 7pm.

Whether your organisation already has an established CSR programme or is just beginning to explore community giving, this event will offer practical insight, ideas and opportunities to connect.

The Community Foundation Wales team will also be available throughout the evening to discuss strategic giving, local partnerships and ways businesses can support communities across Wales.

Bydd y drafodaeth yn cael ei chadeirio gan Sefydliad Cymunedol Cymru, gyda siaradwyr o Aber Instruments, Cymdeithas Adeiladu’r Principality a phartneriaid eraill.

• Cyfleoedd i gysylltu â busnesau, elusennau a sefydliadau lleol eraill
• Bydd y noson yn dod i ben erbyn 7pm.

P’un a’i os oes gennych chi raglen CSR sydd eisoes wedi’ sefydlu, neu os ydych yn dechrau’r daith o roddi cymunedol, bydd y digwyddiad hwn yn cynnig mewnwelediad ymarferol, syniadau a chyfleoedd i gysylltu.

Bydd tîm Sefydliad Cymunedol Cymru hefyd ar gael i drafod rhoi strategol, partneriaethau lleol a ffyrdd y gall busnesau gefnogi cymunedau ledled Cymru.
