About Dr. Kevin Thomas Morgan
Dr. Morgan has lived with an abdominal aortic aneurysm
(AAA) stent graft since 2010, and he continues to love Ironman training. He was diagnosed with peripheral arterial disease (PAD) in 2015. This has turned out to be an even tougher challenge than
his AAA, but one ideally suited to a veterinary pathologist and Ironman-distance triathlete with extensive body movement training.
He adapted to his AAA by modifying body movement and hip flexion on the bike. His approach to training with PAD has been a slowly progressive learning process.
