In celebration of Earth Month, join Thomas Boes to learn about Geology and Mining in Nevada, along with its role in climate change mitigation that impacts Nevadans. The presentation includes an overview of Economic Geology and Geoscience for the Future. Also featured is a geologic map of Nevada, along with a collection of mineral, rock, and fossil samples from the state. Free and open to the public.
