HoW College Early Years Conference 2026!

An inspirational and free Conference for those working in the Early Years Sector.

Keynote Speaker, Polly Harrow is a highly skilled and experienced educational practitioner who has delivered training and presentations to audiences across the UK and Europe, with outstanding feedback. She has worked in education for over 25 years and has a significant proven track record and an excellent reputation across the sector. Her areas of expertise sit primarily in all aspects of safeguarding, equality, diversity & inclusion, restorative and trauma informed practice, positive behaviour, exploitation & radicalisation, coaching & mentoring and sexual harms and violence, gangs and knife crime and in December 2023, Polly was announced by Minister Robert Halfon as the first FE Student Support Champion in the post 16 sector.

Pollys speech will be followed by two inspiring workshops. Workshop one will be presented by Polly and cover delivering trauma informed, restorative and inclusive educational practice in early years and primary settings.

The second workshop will be delivered by our College BLC team and demonstrate our Virtual Reality (VR) programme that was designed to help students understand how insensitive care in babyhood/ early childhood can have a lasting traumatic effect and how ordinary incidents in later childhood can trigger the memories and lead to challenge and behaviour.

**Parking on the day:

We don’t offer parking at college, however there are lots of places to park within a 10-minute walk of the College including Copenhagen Street, Cattle Market car park, Worcester Cathedral, and Crown Gate Shopping Centre.

You can also park at the University of Worcester Arena, this is a further walk but may be a cheaper option to other car parks.
