Mariana Bissonnette is the author of the beautifully illustrated Montessori Literacy Series, a four-book progression that follows children from approximately ages 2–6: The Montessori Alphabet Book, The Montessori Digraph Book, The Montessori Writing Book, and The Montessori Reading Book. Also available will be her award-winning book, Babies Build Toddlers, a beautifully illustrated guide to development from birth through 18 months, available in both English and Spanish.
Mariana creates resources that deepen the adult's understanding of the child so they may guide development without overpowering it. Her work is grounded in anti-bias, anti-racist Montessori with a commitment to the liberation of the child.
