How can Labour make social homes fit for the future?
About this Event
Labour Housing Group is delighted to be organising the Construction Breakfast reception, celebrating the workforce behind the Government's industrial goals.
This event will take place from 08:00 - 09:00 on Monday 28th September in LHG’s Housing Zone, in the Lower Level ACC Arena inside the secure zone. Opening remarks will be made from 08:00.
The event is being held in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Building and the Federation of Master Builders.
Building the future remains a key priority for the Government, whether in the 1.5 million homes programme, GB Energy’s investments into decarbonising power, or transport projects from HS2 to Northern Powerhouse Rail.
The construction sector stands ready to champion this agenda, not just through building the vital infrastructure to house, power, and move the nation, but by providing well-paying stable jobs to those at all stages of their employment journey.
This ‘breakfast reception’ will provide an opportunity for policymakers and sector experts to take stock of the state of the sector, with data-driven insights, and to find opportunities to collaborate in supporting a strong pipeline for the next generation of workers to build Britain’s future.
Please note that all sign-ups will be vetted by Labour Housing Group, so please sign up early so that we can process these.
