How Can I Keep From Singing
About this Event
Join us for a journey through America's rich choral heritage! Under the direction of Artistic Director Misty Bermudez, the Civic Chorale of Greater Miami explores the diverse voices that have shaped the American choral and vocal tradition in a program entitled, "How Can I Keep From Singing." Drawing inspiration from the 2006 NEA and Chorus America publication: "American Masterpieces: Choral Music," this program brings together iconic works by foundational masters like Aaron Copland, Randall Thompson, Harry Burleigh, and Florence Price, alongside modern selections from Eric Whitacre, Elaine Hagenberg, and more. The choir is joined in this celebration of vocal music by CCGM collaborative pianist Dr. Joseph Talleda, guest pianist Jenny Snyder, and guest soprano Raha Mirzadegan.
