Please join us for our annual Beach Bash on Crystal Beach! July 18th, 2026! This year we will be raising money for Camp Shield and Irreverent Warriors (Houston). This is going to be the most patriotic beach event of the year! We welcome your family and friends for a great day on the beach swimming, DJs, BBQ, games, a cornhole tournament, raffles, auctions, looking at awesome trucks, and a wonderful time with fellow diesel enthusiasts. While on Crystal Beach, please keep in mind the beach is considered a roadway, and laws do apply. You will need to purchase a $10 beach pass at any local store on Hwy 87 or from the beach patrol (not police). You will need a beach pass for any motor vehicle you have on the beach; this will include SXS, four wheelers, dirt bikes, golf carts etc. Golf carts are the only vehicle that can be driven on the roads. Any other SXS, four-wheeler, dirt bike, etc must be trailered from your beach house or camper to the beach! You must wear a DOT approved helmet if you are on a four-wheeler or dirt bike. There is to be NO coal rolling, burn outs, donuts, light bar flashing, air horns or any other obnoxious childish acts. If the sand is soft and you have a 4x4, USE IT! We should always do our best to respect the residents and other patrons on the beach. Local Galveston County Sheriff's will be patrolling the beach. We will also have TXDPS Troopers and other officers watching over our event. The police are not there to keep you out of trouble. If you break a law, they will do their job. The goal of all officers will be assisting in the security and safety of our event. Please be respectful to law enforcement, as they are there for everyone's safety. You may camp on the beach in your truck, tent, travel trailer or motor home. Campfires are permitted if there is not a burn ban in effect, and you clean up after your fire. Please be respectful of people camping on the beach. Also, make sure you throw your trash away or take it with you! There are no utility hook ups on the beach so you will be responsible for your own generator. There are MANY local RV camp sights on the peninsula you may rent for cheap. Obviously, there are plenty of beach houses to rent that you may find through apps such as Airbnb and VRBO. There are two hotels on the peninsula that you can book as well. When coming to the beach, you will be coming down Hwy 87. If you come across the Ferry, you will take Hwy 87 to South Monkhouse, take a right on South Monkhouse, and take it to the beach. Once at the beach take a right and you will see us. If you are coming from Winnie on Hwy 87 you will stay on 87 to South Monkhouse and take a left on South Monkhouse and follow that to the beach.
