About this Event
Join us for a Housing Problem-Solving Training, designed to provide a deeper understanding of HUD’s housing problem-solving strategies. According to HUD, housing problem-solving (HPS) is a person-centered, housing-focused approach to quickly resolve housing crises by exploring creative, safe, and cost-effective alternatives to literal homelessness.
This two-day training, in partnership with the National Alliance to End Homelessness, is tailored for navigators, outreach teams, and shelter staff, offering essential insights into contract language, rapid exit strategies, and effective problem-solving in a time when federal and state resources are decreasing.
Participants must register for both sessions on April 24 and April 25 from 9:00am-3:00pm, by selecting 'Get Tickets' for both dates above. The session is limited to 45 participants.
Through this training, participants will learn how to empower clients to address their housing crises, ensuring meaningful and impactful work across the crisis response system. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to gain valuable skills and knowledge that will enhance your ability to support individuals in securing stable housing.
