Housing Justice & Food Insecurity

Join the Center for Housing Opportunity Eastern Connecticut (CHO-EC) as we continue our Housing Justice Series in Willimantic with a representative from The Commission on Women, Children, Seniors, Equity, & Opportunity. The series is designed to engage students and community members to explore the intersection of housing justice and related subjects like education, healthcare, economic development, and democracy.

The event takes place in Hurley Hall in the President's Dining Room at Eastern Connecticut State University.

In 2024, this series began as a partnership between CHO-EC and the Holleran Center for Community Action and Public Policy at Connecticut College. In 2026, CHO-EC is continuing to partner with Eastern Connecticut State University to bring the events to Willimantic. Subject matter experts and practitioners participate in a moderated discussion and a Q&A session with audience members.

Lunch will be served in line at Hurley Dining Hall.

ESCU will provide a shuttle from the parking garage to those with limited mobility. Please email [email protected] to request a shuttle ride so we have enough accommodations.
