Join the Falmouth Historical Society for a rare opportunity to explore some of the most storied private homes in Falmouth—ranging from elegant mansions to classic capes—all with ties to the Revolutionary War era. From hidden architectural details to family histories woven into the fabric of early America, this self-guided tour invites you to discover how Falmouth residents lived during the founding days of our nation.
This event benefits the , a major restoration effort to preserve the Dr. Francis Wicks House—home of a Revolutionary War veteran and centerpiece of the Society’s museum campus. As a small nonprofit committed to keeping our museum free and open to the public, your participation directly supports our mission and helps us offer free children's programming year-round.
How it Works: On the day of the tour, pick up your tickets at the Falmouth Museums on the Green - Cultural Center at 55 Palmer Avenue. There, you’ll receive a keepsake booklet with a detailed map, driving instructions, and information on each historic home. Then, set off at your own pace to visit the featured properties in any order you choose.
Whether you're a history lover, architecture enthusiast, or simply looking for fresh inspiration for your own home, this tour promises a memorable afternoon of discovery.

Join us as a vendor at the starting point of one of Falmouth’s most anticipated historic house tours! The Houses of the Revolution Tour invites visitors into private homes with ties to the Revolutionary War era, drawing guests who are passionate about history, home design, and early American life.
We are seeking vendors whose products and services complement these themes—think home décor, antiques, crafts, books, preservation, art, textiles, handmade goods, and more. This is a great opportunity to connect with a local audience that values tradition, craftsmanship, and quality.
Vendor Details:
Location: Cultural Center, 55 Palmer Avenue (ticket pickup site, everyone will have to come to this location before heading out on the tour). Setup Begins: 10:00 AMTour Hours: 12:00–4:00 PM
Vendor Rates:
$50 – Booth inside the Cultural Center. We provide one six- foot table. (Limited availability)
$30 – Pop-up space on the front lawn (you provide table/tent)
