The House Plant Clinic at Urban Earth is a special winter clinic day for plant parents who want more than guesswork—and fewer struggling leaves.

Hosted in collaboration with Carmeon Hamilton, this event reflects a shared belief that caring for plants is a practice, not a performance. Known for her deep love of home, design, and living things, Carmeon brings an honest, relatable perspective to plant care—one rooted in curiosity, experience, and knowing when to ask for help.

Rather than positioning herself as an expert, Carmeon partners with Urban Earth’s resident plant doctors—the knowledgeable team members who care for plants daily and understand the nuances of seasonal stress, root health, light, and indoor environments. Together, they create a welcoming, supportive space where plant parents can bring their questions (and their plants) without judgment.

Attendees will have access to personalized plant assessments, practical winter care guidance, and one-on-one support from Urban Earth’s in-house experts. This is not a lecture—it’s a hands-on clinic designed for learning, confidence-building, and care.

With limited capacity and an intimate, community-focused setting, the House Plant Clinic offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from trusted local plant professionals alongside a familiar creative voice who understands that even experienced plant lovers still need support.

Bring your houseplants in for a winter check-up.

Cold weather, low light, and dry indoor air can take a toll on indoor gardens. At the Urban Earth Plant Clinic, our team will assess plant health, diagnose common winter issues, and help you set your plants up to thrive through the season.

No judgment. Just good care.

• Plant health diagnosis
• Repotting & root assessment (repotting first-come first-served and may require later pick up)
• Light and placement recommendations
• Pest & disease identification
• Winter watering & humidity guidance

1. Bring one or more houseplants (Check in starts at 10am and spots are limited)
2. Starting at 10:30 Carmeon will share some of her tips and experience with her own houseplants. (Feel free to join even if you didn't bring in your own plant!)
3. Together we'll look at some of the plants you bring in and our team will share their diagnosis and treatment advice for all of us to learn from. Feel free to ask questions!
4. By 11 you'll be released to browse (all attendees get a 10% off coupon to use in-store day-of the event) and if you brought in a houseplant for diagnosis we will let you know when it's your turn for a check-up.
