Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection - Schoharie Co.

THIS COLLECTION IS OPEN TO ALL RESIDENTS IN THE COUNTY OF SCHOHARIE
Attendees may be asked to provide ID as Proof of Residency in Schoharie County.
This event is partially funded by a grant from the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation.

• Adhesives
• Antifreeze / Gasoline / Diesel Fuel
• Cleaning Products & Aerosols
• Corrosives & Solvents
• Driveway Sealers
• Electronics – TVs, VCRs, monitors, computers, laptops, keyboards, mice, speakers, etc.
• Fluorescent light tubes, CFLs & ballasts
• House & Garden Pesticides
• Kerosene
• Latex Paint
• Oil-Based Paints & Stains
• Photography & Hobby Chemicals
• Polishes & Waxes
• Pool Chemicals
• Products containing mercury
(excluding thermostats)
NOT ACCEPTED:
• Alkaline batteries such as
(AA, AAA, C & D)
• Ammunition & Explosives
• Asbestos
• Pharmaceuticals
• Oil
• Non-rechargeable & rechargeable hazardous batteries
*Charge for Freon Units is $28 per item
