The City of Sarasota, in conjunction with Sarasota County, is hosting a drive-through household hazardous waste collection event on Saturday, Feb. 7, at 8 a.m. at Payne Park.

Participants in this free event can dispose of gasoline, chemicals, batteries, automotive products, oil, and more that cannot be safely collected during regular garbage pickup.

This event is for City and County residents only, commercial waste will not be accepted. Proof of residency may be requested.
