Special Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events for Seymour Community Recycling Centre.
Friday July 10 8:30am - 4:00pm
Saturday July 11 8:30am - 2:00pm
Friday October 16 8:30am - 4:00pm
Saturday October 17 8:30am - 2:00pm
Tips
Follow these tips to keep lines moving and to keep you and our staff safe.
1) Daily limits are in place per vehicle:
50 L or 25 cans
40 fluorescent tubes of CFL bulbs
2) Sort materials into categories before visiting a Community Recycling Centre (keep batteries with batteries, paint with paint, etc.)
3) Put all syringes and needles in a labelled and sealed container – we will not collect loose
syringes and needles
4) Put liquid or powder waste in a labelled and sealed container
5) You may bring gas and oil but their container must not exceed 18 litres and the container cannot be returned
