About this Event
Join the City of Berkeley’s Office of Emergency Services to learn about making your Household Fire Weather Plan.
Wildfires are now more frequent, destructive, and fast-moving than ever. A Household Fire Weather Plan will help you make important decisions before fire weather starts, including: deciding to leave your home, choosing where you will go, planning multiple evacuation routes, and identifying who you can ask for help.
This interactive training, led by the City of Berkeley's Office of Emergency Services, lets you share experiences with fellow community members, helps you answer key preparedness questions, and guides you in creating a plan to keep your family safe during fire season.
Wheelchair accessible. Request sign language interpreter, real-time captioning, materials in large print, braille, or other accommodations by calling 510-981-6195 (Library) or the 510-981-6347 (City of Berkeley TDD line). Please refrain from scented products during public programs.
